The God Delusion/The Root of All Evil? (2006)

This 2 hour documentary highlighting the dangers of religion and it's influence in the 21st century was first named 'The Root of All Evil?' against Mr. Dawkins' wishes. According to Dawkins, it would be ridiculous to suggest that any one thing could be the root of all evil, causing it to be renamed 'The God Delusion'. He did however, point out that religion was a major factor for the world's problems.

Here, Dawkins examines how religious faith is gaining ground in the face of rational, scientific truth. He meets with religious leaders, followers, scientists and skeptics around the world. The interviews include the former Pastor Ted Haggard, the novelist Ian McEwan who was the former Bishop of Oxford. The excerpt on the left is a sample of the interview he has with Yousef Al-Khattab (formerly Joseph Cohen).

The Enemies of Reason (2007)

In this documentary, Richard Dawkins takes on the world’s leading proponents in their field of expertise, meet the victims who have used them, expose the history of the movements and show the experiments and testing that have failed to produce conclusive results. He shows the negative effects in religion.

Dawkins states that reason and a respect for evidence are precious commodities. He says that because of them, humans progress and it helps protect us from those who wish to obscure the truth. However, many people seem to shun reason today. Some of the people he interviews include Steve Fuller, Deepak Chopra, Satish Kumar and Derren Brown . The video on the left is the first of five parts of the documentary.

The Genius of Charles Darwin (2008)

Ever since Charles Darwin published the 'Origin of Species' in 1859, it has been the subject of debate. His theories of evolution are frequently misunderstood and/or misinterpreted to justify racialist attitudes.

In this documentary, Dawkins explains Darwin's theory of evolution in detail and considers the moral questions raised by it. He argues that selfless behavior altruism are essential for human survival and evolution itself. He shows how there is far too much evidence for religion to be true.

The excerpt from the documentary on the left is an interview with Daniel Dennett who is currently the Co-director of the Center for Cognitive Studies, the Austin B. Fletcher Professor of Philosophy, and a University Professor at Tufts University.

Faith School Menace (2010)

This documentary largely revolves around Dawkins' belief that parents should do what is best for their child by not forcing them to believe the same religion that they do. He states that children should be given the freedom to believe in either their parents religion, a different one or none at all. This, he states, will allow children to approach the world with a genuinely open mind.

Dawkins interviews a vest array of people including the former Secretary of State for Education Charles Clarke, Head of Church of England Education Service Reverend Janina Ainsworth and the Chair of the Association of Muslim Schools, Dr. Mohammed Mukadam. It also features insights from pshycologists, parents and pupils. The video on the left is the first of four parts of the documentary.
